Nike has imagined and created functional, fashion-forward footwear and apparel in reflection of its sportswear roots since 1964. Since 2018, the ISPA range from the brand has reworked silhouettes, with its name an acronym for 'improvise, scavenge, protect and adapt'. The futuristic ISPA Sense Flyknit Sneakers have been constructed with up-cycled materials. The shoe has a Flyknit upper which is made from 100% recycled polyester, partially recycled TPU cages and TPU midsoles made from 100% recycled scraps.
