When Emily Adams Bode founded her eponymous label, Bode (pronounced Boh-dee), she did so with the intention of expressing a sentimentality for the past through her creations. The Cross Stitched Rose Garland Shirt is inspired by an embroidered tablecloth, circa 1910s-1930s. The embroidered cross-stitched rose border has been reproduced in this shirt.
