When Emily Adams Bode founded her eponymous menswear label, Bode (pronounced Boh-dee), she did so with the intention of expressing a sentimentality for the past through her creations. Through the study of both personal narratives and historical techniques, Bode is able to create clothing which is a bold collision of modern workwear silhouettes and female-centric traditions like quilting and mending. The Cobalt Mosaic Long Sleeve Shirt is inspired by an Eastern European souvenir tablecloth, circa 1940's to 1960's. It features an embroidered mosaic pattern, wing collar, button down closure and button cuffs. Style over the Relaxed Jean and with some derbies for a vintage, elevated look.
